Women's Ministries

Women's Ministry exists at GoodNaz to provide opportunities for women to grow closer to God and to each other. We do this through weekly Bible studies, connect groups, prayer and monthly opportunities to meet each other and/or serve others. If you are a woman over the age of 18 and you're looking to form close relationships with other women at GoodNaz where you'll be loved and prayed for, the Wednesday night group at 6:30pm is an excellent place to begin.

Bible Studies/Connect Groups
The "women only" bible study on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm meets in room C234, the room in the upstairs corner of the gym. If you're interested in growing closer to God and other women, please join us. You'll find a place free of judgement where women speak from their hearts. Children's programming is provided on Wednesday nights.

January 30: Winter Breakaway - A Day to be Enriched . . . Spiritually, Emotionally and Physically!

Grace Church of the Nazarene

The $25 registration fee includes:

* continental breakfast
* box lunch
* choice of 2 workshops in the morning
* ministry of Yori Taylor and Beth Fox in the afternoon session

February 5th and 6th: Dixie Jamboree

Women's Ministry sponsors this annual event of Hee-Haw meets the Grand Ole Opry. Come for a great night of food from Mason's and some "corny" humor mixed in with some of the most talented musical performances you'll find in Goodlettsville.

March 2010: Yearly Women's Retreat

This is a great time to leave your everyday stresses at home and get away with 20 ladies for a time of spiritual refreshing, relaxation and laughter! Estimated cost will be $80 for 2 nights accomodations and 5 meals. For more details email Michele at michele@goodnaz.org.

May 8, 2010: Ladies Luncheon

Join ladies from 1 to 100 at GoodNaz’s annual Ladies’ Luncheon. This tea and luncheon is for ladies of all ages so bring your daughter, mother, grandmother, friend or come by yourself! This is a great opportunity to meet new ladies and sit and talk to old friends. This event will feature:

· Having your picture taken with the ladies that you come with, or by yourself

· Voting on the best decorated table

· Mingling

· Eating Lunch

· Light entertainment

· Announcement of contest winners

AND if you have the gift of hosting and/or decorating, sign-up to decorate and host a table (details are below). Prizes will be awarded!

For those of you that desire to host a table, here’s what you’ll need to do:

1. Check the column “Decorate Table” on the sign-up sheet, we’ll need 8-10 tables decorated so the opportunity to do this is limited to the first 8-10 people that volunteer.

2. You’ll need to have your table decorated by 11:00am on Saturday, May 8th. Tables and chairs will be set-up on Wednesday, May 7th. You’ll have between 7:30pm on Wednesday and 11:00am on Saturday to get your table decorated.

3. Decorating the table is completely up to you! If you’d like to use your fine china and do something sophisticated you can. If you’d like to do something fun and whimsical, you can do that! It’s entirely up to you.

4. Women’s ministry will supply the table and 6-8 chairs. We will also supply plates and utensils for the ladies to use.

5. Each lady (regardless of age) that attends will have the opportunity to cast 1 vote for the “tablescape” that she likes the best at the beginning of the event. The table with the most votes will be announced as the winner at the end of the event.

6. All of your items will need to be removed from the room immediately following the event.
